Rakesh, an 11-year-old from a remote village in Rajasthan, joined Shiksha Bharti in 2009 in Lower Kindergarten. With limited access to education and a family income below the poverty line, his early learning was slow, and public school wasn't an option.
Thanks to extra coaching at our school, Rakesh gradually improved. He was able to study without adding financial pressure on his family. In 2014, he passed Class 5 and secured admission to Class 8 in a government school through a merit test. He completed high school in 2016.
Though he couldn’t pursue further education due to financial challenges, Rakesh used his skills to start a grocery shop and now supports his family. Recently, he also began working with a leading food delivery service.
